Neat as a pin. Very scenic and peaceful. Gravel roads in but we'll maintained. Would have a great view if air had not been super hazy. Remains of early tree platform lookout there, climbing pegs still in side of tree. This dates before lookouts that were cabins on stilts.
The bunkhouse is in a great location with beautiful views. The Summit road up to the bunkhouse is a well maintained gravel road.
This cabin is exceptional— quiet with great views and hikes. Bring your own water. No electricity, but propane heat, light, and stove.
I haven't been lucky enough to stay here because we have a cabin just on the road but this place does look pretty awesome in the views are absolutely breathtaking.
Spent 3 days here and only saw 2 vehicles pass in the middle on july. Well maintained and incredible view.
