Smoke Friendly BBQ

The smoked BBQ pork was a bit too wet and vinegary. Overpowered the smoked flavor. It is January, and the A/C was on too low, it was cold and uncomfortable. I met a client there, so we had business to go over. We were both rushing to get thru our meeting to get outside to thaw out. And on top of all that, they dont have internet. ???????????? So needless to say - fortunately, we "breezed" through our meeting and next time we will go down the street to meet for lunch. Oh, hey, the staff was great though!

We ordered 2 briskwt plates. Brisket was juicy and tender but not much smoke flavor. Mac n cheese was very bland, could have been smoked to add flavor. Baked beans tasted liked canned beans. Potato salad was good.

There are a lot of barbecue places that pull up on a Google search. Do yourself a favor and put this one at the top of your list. The food was incredible, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the price was half as much as you'd pay anywhere else. The crowd was light (Wednesday at lunch), but it won't stay that way for long. Get yourself here before the secret gets out. I am marking this place on my map as a "must stop" for anytime I'm in the area.

This place is hands down a hidden gem!! It's a family owned business and they are all super nice and friendly!! The food is delicious!!! You can't go wrong with anything you order!! We literally drive about 45 minutes just to eat there.. I would give it 10 stars actually, instead of 5!! Love it!! Update: we can't stop going to this place!! 😉 they even know us now. They have been so friendly every time we go in! And even if we skip a few weeks, when we walk in they act like we're old friends! This is what a real family business is supposed to be like!! I don't think they could get any better. 😉😊 Another update: still delicious and friendly 😆

This restaurant is such a gem! Not only is the food amazing, but the customer service is even better! Each and every person working came by to thank us for coming. As I understand it, this is a family restaurant. These days it takes only the most courageous with passion to actually open a food establishment. I salute their hard work! Please frequent this place, you will not regret it!
