Smitty's Grille

Been in recently as usual. Yummy 😛Peyton is the bomb of a waitress however Daylen, Lane & Makayla are up there too. Every dinner we have is above satisfaction and drinks are always relaxed and perfectly made. Atmosphere is the best for an enjoyable evening out.

I never give fives, LOL The ambiance? The music? The staff were kind and the customers were convivial. I've never had a better oyster po-boy! I have been craving fries with a special fierceness but I haven't had the time to sit down anywhere decent. These Fries Are perfect! I can tell they came from happy potatoes! ☺️ It's refreshing to have a restaurant this good so close by. I don't mind driving from Greensboro for this!

If I want grilled scallops, I know where to come!! I will say over the past couple of years the portions have gotten smaller. These photos are BEFORE we ate. The 2 skewers of scallops, baked beans were $28. The potato salad was extra. The plate my husband got was also “short” in quantity. Again, the food is great but the portions not adequate.

I thought all the waitstaff was attentive and friendly. The food came out hot and fresh. We don't live close by but I would come again if we are in the area! Its a small place so not great for big groups but id say up to 4 would be easily doable.

This place is cozy and the decor makes you feel like you're dining on a dock somewhere. The fried fish and popcorn shrimp were impeccable . Someone knows how to fry fish in that kitchen! 😉 My husband loved the crab stuffed flounder. I couldn't get enough of the fried shrimp. They were packed but had a table for 2 in the back, so we didn't wait. The mostly bar seating gives you a chance to mingle and chat easily with other patrons. I love the concept and enjoy eating here.
