Slot Canyons Inn

We were driving Scenic Byway 12 on our way from Las Vegas to Moab. We booked the Slot Canyons Inn, as Escalante seemed a good halfway point. This little inn was definitely the highlight of the drive! Cozy, comfortable room and a delicious home-cooked breakfast (included with room cost). Beautiful scenery outside as well. I’m only sorry that we could t stay another night or 2 and enjoy some hiking.

I was nervous booking accommodations in a place I was not familiar with. Slot Canyons Inn was one of the highlights of our trip! Beautiful little inn just off Scenic Byway 12, with gorgeous scenery. The email directions I received were perfect, and helpful as we arrived after dark. Our room key was waiting for us on the desk, with a welcome note and information. Our room was comfortable and quiet. The next morning, we enjoyed a delicious home-cooked breakfast (included with the room). Our only regret was not spending more time here.

It's a beautiful sort-of "No Man's Land" between Bryce and Canyonlands and we found this B&B to be as delightful respite. We stayed two nights and really enjoyed just hanging around this very comfortable property for one of the days, as we caught our breath between national park visits. Carolyn runs the place and offers a lovely breakfast, including some nice homemade granola. Guests can park their own food in the Guest Refrigerator and stretch out ion the enormous living room (with fireplace) or simply enjoy any one of the five or six spacious rooms (some with fireplace).

We stayed at this beautiful B&B for one night on Christmas Eve. The day before our arrival, the manager, Caroline, called to check in and expressed concern that we might have trouble finding an open restaurant for dinner. She kindly offered to prepare a home-cooked meal for us, which was incredibly thoughtful. Caroline truly goes above and beyond to provide exceptional, heartfelt service.

A great off the beaten path to stay! Quiet with a great canyon to see, wild turkeys & deer wandering thru every morning & evening. Fantastic home cooked breakfast to get ya going. 5 minutes from Escalante & in the middle of beautiful country.
