This place was good. Some nice food, especially with the limited choices in escalante. I had the birria tacos and chips with guac. The tacos were good, the salsas spicy and the consume was nice and hot and brothy. The chips were especially good, I thought. Fat strips of fried tortilla, Fresh guac with chunks of onion tomato and avocado. The area was okay. I mean it's in a parking lot but the people serving were nice and friendly and that's what matters. If you're a tourist in Escalante I'd recommend this place for some good authentic Mexican food.

We stopped here based on reviews here and we were not disappointed. After spending the day at Capitol Reef and snacking on the way, we were not too hungry and opted to split small dishes instead. We had fish taco, shrimp taco and grilled chicken street taco. They were so fresh and delicious, the flavors were right on. We finished them in no time 😆 highly recommended this authentic Mexican place!

They’ve taken over the Nemo location and we had the pleasure of going on their first day! Delicious, quick and an easy stop.

This place was legit and I'm pretty picky about good Mexican food. After spending 10 hours hiking this hit the spot. They know how to cook. Got the tacos and chips and salsa, plenty of food quantity and quality. I hope they stay or grow their operation.

This place is a perfect stop with freshly made food and friendly people. We stopped and got two chicken tacos and two Quesabirria tacos. They were generously stuffed with meat and the consommé is delicious! Don’t miss the homemade chips - fresh-made so they come out hot and perfectly salted with homemade salsa. Definitely recommend this little place if you’re driving through the area!
