Pizza is delicious. Sushi is really top grade. Fish is always very fresh. I recommend getting some of the specialty rolls. Atmosphere is higher end, but with economically priced food. Good place for a casual meeting that offers higher end atmosphere with casual food.

Slices and Rolls is, without exaggeration, one of the lowest points of the kosher food scene in Philadelphia. Walking in felt like walking into chaos, and dealing with the owner, Eli, was the final insult. His attitude is shockingly nasty — rude, arrogant, and somehow offended that customers even exist. The food was a complete catastrophe. Their “sushi” tasted so questionable it had us feeling sick afterward. The pizza was a sad, pale, undercooked slab with zero flavor and bargain-basement ingredients. The pasta? Frozen, bland, and dumped on a plate like an afterthought. Nothing — absolutely nothing — showed care, skill, or pride. For a city already short on kosher options, this place manages to drag the bar even lower. ⭐ Zero stars if possible. Beautiful space. Everything else was a disaster. We ordered pizza, sushi, rolls, and pasta. Every item was shockingly bad and not even close to worth the price. The sushi rice was so hard I nearly chipped a tooth. The tuna tasted canned, not fresh. One roll had slimy salmon with a white film on it, another had frozen tuna and an absurd amount of seeds. The guacamole was sour and clearly off. The “grandma pie” had an overly sour, citric sauce, cheese that peeled off in one rubbery slab, and a crust that was raw in the middle. The fettuccine Alfredo had completely separated into a chalky white mass, oil pooling on the plate, and dried spices dumped on top. Inedible. When we politely asked to speak with a manager, Eli came out with a hostile, arrogant attitude.

The food here is phenomenal. We got the margarita pizza and a half veggie half plain and they were both incredible. I will say this place is pricy like very pricy. 2 pies and 5, 20fl oz sodas were over $68. But the pies were 10/10. I will be back.
