Sleepy Seal Coffee Shop

Charming beach vibe coffee shop tucked away on PCH in Redondo. Loved my turmeric latte and the fabulous service and smiles. So happy I found this place!

It's a charming little local spot. sitting on PCH, 5 minutes walking to the beach from its front door, Sleepy Seal hits on all the notes of a beach town coffee shop. Redondo itself doesn't really carry itself like a beach town like you'll find going south between LA and San Diego, but Sleepy Seal does. It's small, bright, warm, the staff are chill. It's a vibe. The seating is in the back and I could sit there for a fair bit studying or working. I wouldn't say its a hangout or coffee shop to talk in, but that's because there beach is right there. Why would you? I don't know if it was because of the day we went or what but the glass displays were all empty and made that portion feel a little barren. If they normally have baked goods or stuff in there awesome! We ordered the salted maple

Very good coffee. Wouldn’t say it’s like most other coffees I’ve tried. The flavor wasn’t as distinct to what I imagine a cinnamon roll would be, but it still was a great sip throughout. Great interior too. And the staff that took and made my order was clearly a bit tired or lower energy at first. I didn’t take any offense as it looked like she was a little overworked, but grace and blessings to her. She deserves a good tip every time for making great drinks all around.

Sleepy Seal is such a gem of a coffee shop – cozy, warm, and full of character. The space has an artistic touch that makes it feel unique and inviting, and the staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming. I tried the oat milk latte, and it was absolutely amazing – smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. A great spot to relax with good coffee and good vibes.

I love everything about Sleepy Seal. I visit every time I am in town. Delicious drinks with a unique beach vibe. The staff is also super friendly. A+ place to get coffee in Redondo Beach I am such a fan I even bought a T-shirt.
