Some evenings are not about celebration. They become the celebration. My first visit to Sky Room in Long Beach was nothing short of exquisite. The space itself feels timeless and elegant, with sweeping views that instantly set the tone for an elevated dining experience. From the ambiance to the attentive service, every detail felt intentional and refined. I chose the five course chef’s selection, which I highly recommend for a first visit. Each dish arrived like a surprise, thoughtfully curated by the chef for the evening, allowing me to experience a range of flavors and artistry in one sitting. Every course felt balanced, beautifully presented, and memorable without being overwhelming. It was less like dinner and more like being guided through a culinary story. What stood out most was

We had a wonderful meal for a friends 40th birthday at the Sky Room this week. Our server David was phenomenal! The atmosphere of the private room we were in surpassed our parties expectations. I had the special of short ribs which were perfectly cooked. The honey nut risotto was delicious, the flat iron steak was another favorite. From the wine to the cocktails it was a delight. I would definitely come back again on another trip to Long Beach.

Great setting and view of Long Beach from atop the Fairmont Breakers. Modern high end interiors. Friendly and attentive staff. Small menu but difficult to decide. We like trying out as much as possible so orderwd two appetizers and two entres to share. The chicory salad was dwlicious although on the smaller side, I could have had double the serving. So was the steak tartare, but seasoning was on point. The duck breast was extra crisp and a surprisingly portion which we were not able to finish. The shirt rib was very rich. Too full to have desert

I came here for drinks and snacks with an architect friend, and we were both admiring the space all night. From the tile work to the lighting and overall architectural details, everything felt thoughtful and completely on point. The vibes are immaculate. The Vesper martini was a knockout. We also had the steak tartare, and the bar snacks (which were complimentary!) were delicious. This bar is located inside The Breakers Hotel, and you can easily make a whole evening of it there. There’s the Sky Room for drinks and dining, a rooftop bar (a little too clubby for my personal taste), plus a jazz bar, another cocktail bar, and an Italian restaurant on the main level. My friend and I stayed for about four hours and had such a fun night. Heads up: if you want to sit in the Sky Room main dining

The Sky Room is one of those dining experiences that feels truly special and memorable. The ambiance alone is breathtaking — perched high above Long Beach with panoramic views of the beach, port, and even the Queen Mary, it creates the perfect backdrop for a romantic dinner or a night to remember. Watching the sunset transition into the sparkling city lights was absolutely stunning. The food was outstanding. From the appetizers to the mains, everything was well-prepared and beautifully presented. The Beef Wellington in particular was a standout — perfectly cooked, tender, and rich in flavor. The sides complemented the dish well and rounded out the meal wonderfully. The service was impeccable. Attentive, friendly, and professional, the staff made us feel welcomed and cared for without eve
