Skrimp Shack

The food is always good, We get the large family meal and everything is fresh and well cooked. Hushpuppies are good, the sides are good. The cakes and banana pudding are delicious, we tried a slice of pineapple and of coconut cake, they both were good but the pineapple was really really good! The chicken sandwich is Amazing!

Have eaten here twice. The first time was great! Fresh crab cakes, fried nicely and yummy crispy fries. The second time was soggy fried chicken, flavorless. Sweet potatoes were on the raw side. It seemed like two separate restaurants! One was a weeknight and the next a weekend. Quality hit or miss. Might try again?

My favorite fast food go to spot for quality, made to order seafood and homestyle sides. I really enjoy the collards and dipping my fish (flounder or whiting) and shrimp in the fresh made poboy sauce. Homemade carrot cake is another favorite...yum! My flounder was a little overcooked today, but overall a typically very good experience every time.

Shrimp Shack has never let me down. I can depend on that fried fish and those crunchy, flavorful shrimp over and over again and again. There's something really special about your go-to food spot remaining consistent over time. It makes life so much easier. Big shout-out to Skrimp Shack for always holding me down! Much love!
