Skrimp Shack

My mom found Skrimp Shack on Facebook as we were figuring out where to go while vacationing here in Virginia. The place has a very relaxed atmosphere and the service is very down-to-earth. My mom and I had had the box which contained a combo of fried fish and shrimp, fries, and cornbread; in addition, we also ordered sweet teas, cheesecake (with no berries) and a 'nana pudding (banana pudding) my grandmother just had the fish. The meal was really delicious and quite fresh and the sweet tea was excellent! My mom and I haven't tried our desserts yet but overall we will definitely come back to the Skrimp Shack!

We purchased the family large meal which was quite filling for a family of three or greater. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Cause miss with eating here! At least my 5x coming and never disappointed, except the cornbread not being warm or hot. Not sure if that’s intended but couple occasions it’s was cold, not warm at all but nothing major nor does it take away from the quality of the food! Fish, whiting, flounder, catfish, SKRIMP, Po boy… all hit! Definitely 4.5 stars and up!

Love this place and the young lady that runs the counter is super special. I don't even know her but she's been there at this location for as long as I've been going. And she knows everyone that comes through the door. Good spirits and vibes. I just wanted to give her her flowers for her service and the job she does to keep this store running. Give her a raise!!!. Good eats btw. Fresh always. A good spot to eat! Great customer service hands down.!

3.5⭐️ Skrimp Shack is okay from time to time. I just wanted a shrimp Po Boy really badly. I guess I forgot to take a picture of it. It was good, good size, would get again.
