Skip's Grill

This is the second time I’ve been to skips, the first time it was very mediocre and Service was extremely slow. Today I went for lunch, again I waited at the door for awhile and then even longer at the table I CLEANED MYSELF. The busboy took the glasses off the table and walked away as if he was done, I asked for a rag or if the table could be wiped off and he handed me a dry rag off his shoulder. There was still trash, crumbs, droplets of drink on the table and he was moving on to the next table as if it was normal to sit at a dirty table. The waitress is clearly new, she rushed by us in a hurry saying she would be right with us and “ I need help back here”, to us, not to other workers asking for help but clearly telling us she can not handle the tables on her own. Never been open on Sunday in the past. Awesome prices and a great menu. Chicken and Dressing was Fabulous! Meet and three, Breakfast all day Sunday.

I was in the restaurant February 28 waited 50 minutes for my breakfast that never came waitress came out and said she was sorry I was fourth in line 10 minutes later after they served about seven people another waitress came out and said I was fifth in line I waited eight more minutes and then left. The food is great, but they don’t know how to run the kitchen.

Hadn't been to Skips in quite some time. Took a chance and went on the 1st, and boy am I glad that I did! The catfish was amazing, service was wonderful despite being packed. All around a wonderful experience. If you haven't been, or haven't been in a while, give it a shot!
