Sista Kim’s Kitchen

I loved Sista Kim's Kitchen. I was on vacation in Vegas. My cousin recommended the place because she eats there all the time. Everything was good. Fish cooked to perfection. Hate I didn't get a chance to go again before I left, but will make sure I visit again next time I'm in Vegas.

Sista Kim’s has moved, and this new place is big, beautiful, and fabulous! Same incredible food, they’re starting with the best staples and expanding back out as they finish their move from New Orleans Square (we’ll miss being neighbors but happy for their success)! Try everything, but the cornbread, red beans & rice, and the catfish was supreme! Oh, and get more of the sweet heat sauce; it’s like sweet & sour sauce mixed with Southern style hot sauce, and complimented the shrimp, catfish, and wings perfectly! Such friendly service, good drinks, and an inviting atmosphere. Only slight downside: if you’re in a hurry you might feel rushed; the food is all made from scratch and it shows! We’ll be back, and so will you!

Real cooking. The atmosphere and service was impeccable. The Kool-Aid 100/10 better than ever. My favorite thing to order and it never fails always cooked to perfection is the Fish and Shrimp Combo with my sides being them bomb greens and the Mac n cheese. So happy I found so real food in las vegas worth the drive from anywhere.

Typically, my husband and I love Sista Kim’s and are recurring customers. Today, I called to place a pickup order after work since it’s Wing Wednesday and I planned on ordering quite a bit. However, when I called, the young man who answered informed me that I could not place an order unless I paid over the phone. I asked if paying over the phone required giving my full credit card number and CVV, and he said yes. That immediately raised a safety concern for me. While I would have been comfortable using a secure method like Cash App or Zelle, I do not feel safe reading my card number and CVV aloud over the phone. My main issue with this place was the wait time. I went recently around 3pm and ordered the special to go, the catfish nuggets with two sides. I was told the wait would be about 20-30 minutes, but might come out a little earlier depending. I said all good and went to run some errands before coming back. Came back around 30 minutes later and was told it still wasn't ready and only then told why there was a wait - the fryer was broken so it'd be another 10 minutes. That goes by and again it's coming soon but another 15 minutes go by. Throughout this process there are multiple people waiting for togo orders and none of the staff are communicating themselves, we all had to approach them and ask where our food was.
