Went to see Elf Jr. By the J C.H.S. Players... was a fantastic show in a great atmosphere... was clean all three showings...
This cozy, historic theater seats around 250 in this quaint little town. I saw Forest Gump there when I was a child, but now it's only used for stage shows like Gospel music and plays. Main Street Players use the venue for their productions, as well as Johnson Central High School's JC Players, pictured. Every Christmas this talented student group puts on Elf! the Musical, and it's the highlight of the season for our little county.
Beautiful little historic theater used primarily for community events, and small venue showing. It would be a five star theater if the seats were updated or at least most of them functional. Come early and do your best to get a chair that doesn’t fall over on the guy behind you. The local groups that perform here are deserving of funding being put behind this place.

Seats in severe need of repair. Shows are great and snacks are great.
