Sioux City Public Library

I've been clean and sober for 88 days now. Praise the Lord, I needed a document printed out last week and as I was speaking to the oldest more respectful fellow of the couple gay guys there about getting it printed out. The other young guy kept interrupting. So I kindly told him I wasn't speaking to him, he then told me I seem drunk and told me to leave in front of a cop. I kindly and respectfully obliged . I also recorded it all on my phone. Its judgmental people like this who make it more difficult for people who are actually doing their best to change and help themselves. And yes Iam homeless " and thankful our good Lord is giving me another chance at living life on life's terms. And I'll continue to do my best. Thank you.

They have some real treasures here.… Real paper topographic and platt maps, bound, periodicals stretching back in history, great programs for kids and adults, an extensive collection, a wonderful meeting space, great places to study, and very helpful staff. Thank you all.

My kids love the events the library offers. Wonderful book selection and helpful staff when you are in need of help. It's a wonderful place!

Exactly what I want in a library-- I'm so tired of libraries that feel like a Chuck E Cheese with beeping electronics and kids running around unsupervised! Lovely spot!

I came in the front entrance with my husband and 4 homeless men with suitcases and backpacks were making it difficult to pass threw, Needed a card, so I had the lady at the front desk, update my information she did not give me a card. Tried to call and it was a complete hazzle,
