My first time eating at SIngh's Cafe for their lunch buffet on a Saturday. I have a child with an egg and nut allergy so I emailed the business prior to going. Business responded the next day with the info I needed. There is only street parking and it's Rt-16, so it's very busy. I found parking nearby right away, but when I left, there was barely any parking nearby. There's a municipal parking lot two blocks away as a last resort. For the restaurant itself, you are basically dining in a basement but it wasn't an issue for us regular folks. I told the servers about my child's food allergy and they verified what food my child could eat. It is good to deal with people knowledgeable about allergies when I have dealt with clueless ones before. There isn't much food selection but everything I
I love the lunch buffet. So delicious, such a wonderful variety of food and flavors. Lots of vegetarian options. Finishing off my meal with chai and rice pudding is the best. Wonderful service and kind staff!
Very curious why reviews are so low. Must be the stuffy crowd that expects American service at an Indian restaurant. I am not a spicy food person and be careful about the heat level there. They will make it Indian-hot, not white-people-hot. Other than that, go nuts, everything is good. Goat is always hit or miss in terms of tenderness but flavors are spot on. Like my friend, a chef, put it “you can tell it ain’t a white guy cooking in the kitchen”. Their ras malai is one of my top 3 desserts in ANY cuisine and I make tiramisu with my own duck eggs.
Good food here. Taste wise Singh’s cafe is unmatched in and around the Boston area for Indian food. I think the prices are relatively higher than what you’d find elsewhere. The staff are super helpful with their guidance on ordering. We love the Samosas from here. Their peshawari naan and Kulfi are also quite a delight for those with a sweet tooth. You should definitely try the cocktails here that are made with an Indian twist. Overall, our group was very satisfied with the food at Singh’s.
I had driven by this place a couple of times and was curious. My aunt and I love to try new Indian food spots so we decided to give it a go. Initially parking was a bit tough because there were meters but also signs saying we couldn't park there. I decided to risk it and park anyways, which worked out fine in the end I didn't get a ticket. The restaurant itself is extremely comfortable and cozy, while tables are still socially distanced. The food was absolutely divine. We had the veggie samosa starter and then I had the butter chicken and my aunt had the chicken curry. We also ordered a naan bread. The flavors in the curry were perfect and the naan was huge and soft and melts in your mouth. Another top option for Indian food in the area
