Simpson Restaurant & Bar was an amazing experience. The Jamaican food was divine. The oxtail was tender and fall-off-the-bone delicious, and the rice and peas were so flavorful they could stand on their own. The BBQ vegetarian chicken was also a hit. The Bob Marley drink was yummy, and the Jamaican Black brought back childhood memories of Jamaica. The restaurant itself is beautiful, very sophisticated decor with a nod to island culture, great photos, and music that sets the vibe without being too loud. A wonderful place for authentic Jamaican flavors. Highly recommend!

My family had an amazing time at this lovely restaurant. Authentic Jamaican flavors flowed through every dish, our portions were appropriately large for the price and hot at service. Each server was wonderful including Jameer our friendly star of a server, Demetrius the bar back and server, Savannah the Manager that checked on our experience midmeal and Aneesah the hostess who took our picture. The other guests for the night were having a great time as well so it was great energy. I didn't get pictures of our drinks but we got virgin strawberry daiquiri and Pina colada type drinks. They were cold, delicious, and tasted like the natural raw sweet fruit. We will definitely be eating there again. Shout out to Chef Simpson for making an awesome experience of a restaurant here in Atlantic City.

While in Atlantic City for the day, we randomly ran into this Jamaican/Soul food spot and let me tell you the restaurant is a whole vibe! The old-school music playing the entire time was such a nice touch. There’s nothing better than jamming while you’re eating! Now let’s talk about the confusing part… the menu situation. There’s a menu placed on the tables with a QR code (see picture), and there are also printed menus. Naturally, we scanned the QR code only to realize it was the menu for their New York location. Every item I asked about, the waitress just looked at me confused. She finally looked at my phone and said, “Oh, that’s our N.Y. restaurant.” So you’re telling me you place a menu on the table that you don’t even serve from?? Bizarre. Note to self: do NOT scan the QR code menu o

Simpsons restaurant is absolutely amazing! The food and service was a 10/10. The drinks were strong yet delicious and the portions were great. Our waiter Tobey was on point je offered me gloves so my nails don't mess up and recommended the BEST Hennessy cheesecake I've had I Would absolutely come back! It was worth the 1.5 drive. Again AMAZING

My husband and I went for our valentines day dinner on the 13th to escape the rush of the actual day . With that said I loved how they took the time to decorate and greeted every female with a long stem rose ... Nice touch ! Our server was knowledgeable and helpful . As we're sitting eating our appetizers and vibing to the music, which was great and not too loud. We saw the owner walking around and recording the vibe of the restaurant , not once did he stop to say hello to any of his customers! That to me was very poor customer service, its also took away from the overall experience. When you see the owner walking around, it naturally raises your expectation that they’ll acknowledge you — even just a quick smile or “Thanks for coming in.” When that doesn’t happen, it can land as: Indiff
