Silver Summit Cafe

I'm really surprised most everything closes at 7 pm on a Saturday night in kamas. We hit this place later in the day about 630 after being turned away by a couple of places and wasn't that bad for a gas station reaturant. While there is no atmosphere , the food was decent. The counter person brought our food to the table and cleaned up, and the good presentation was almost top-notch. For weary travelers just off the trails, a good spot to stop by and check out. The counter person, did not get his name, although did not speak much or if any of English, deserves a gold medal star for handling customers, taking phone orders , and bringing the food to the tables in a very busy area.

I usually get pretty good food here but last night was terrible. I ordered a patty melt but it was made on white toast. What happened to the marble rye you used to use? The patty was so small it might have been a kids burger and I think I counted three grilled mushroom and onion slices on it. I also ordered a chicken quesadilla that had NO cheese on it. Imagine that quesadilla with no cheese, well it dried out the chicken so bad it was barely edible! Then again very little grilled onions and peppers. It looked like the veggies were grilled in so much butter because they ran out of cheese and decided to disguise it with oily butter. So bad! Whoever was cooking last night should be shown the door!

This little goodie is inside the 7-11 and a pleasant surprise. While serving burgers and fries, they also offer a full menu of Mexican dishes. All our picky eaters were able to choose something they like. The food was fresh, homemade, and attractive. Truly a golden nugget.

Great food after a visit to mirror lake. The quesadilla actual had veggie and chicken super tasty sauces! Great grab n go or sit and eat in a diner attached to the 7-11 gas station!

Where do I start for one not in a 7-11 you want restaurant food go to a real restaurant not something inside a 7-11 food straight 🆙 terrible you want real silver summit café it's in park city I would recommend you avoid this restaurant at all cost we had French dip and was bent over the next couple hours sick.
