First time trying Haitian food. My fiance and I saw this place on the way to Lake Maude and decided to stop. There are only a few parking spots out front and they were full so we had s good feeling. There's a apartment complex right next door with plenty of parking. I cant remember the guy's name who helped us out but I asked him what his favorite was and he said the Griyo (fried pork chunks) so that's what we got. Picture is in the review and they have two sizes. We got the smallest one and it cost $15. You can get it with rice but we chose fried plaintains. The meat was tender and well seasoned. Delicious Haitian food! Priced reasonably. Good portions sizes. All 4 meals ordered came with rice and plantains. The atmosphere was clean, inviting with very friendly people. Highly recommended! We will definitely patronize again!

First time at Silou Restaurant and I was impressed! I got the fish in sauce with plantains, which was absolutely delicious. The pikliz, made with onions and peppers, had just the right amount of spice and really complemented the meal. I also tried the diri djon djon, which was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The dish came with fresh avocado, which was a great touch. I was so hungry I didn’t get a chance to post a picture, but I definitely will next time. Everything was amazing, and I will definitely be back!

Who puts pig feet in legume. Never again. And the attitude at checkout is beyond me, you need customers we don’t need you. Plenty of better Haitian food restaurants around. This is not it.
