Excellent Calzone, salad, onion rings, lasagne, club sandwich was enjoyed by the four of us. Busy place on a Friday night, reservation's for party's of six or more. A five minute drive to The Venue to see the Doobie Brothers after dinner avoided the potentially hideous traffic getting into Thunder Valley Casino. Service was a bit off,as the appetizer we ordered under the Happy Hour menu was forgotten.
Such a hidden gem for Italian food in Rocklin. Everything tastes fresh, homemade, and full of flavor. Their pizza crust is perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside, and the pasta dishes are rich without feeling overly heavy. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming great for family dinners or a relaxed date night. The staff is always friendly and attentive, which makes the experience even better.
A girlfriend and I had dinner here for the first time a couple of weeks ago. It was a Saturday night around 6-7ish, we didn’t wait but a couple of minutes for a table. This restaurant isn’t the biggest or comfiest place. But the smells coming from the kitchen were getting us excited for good food. Its very loud inside, and the service was absolutely horrendous. It took 13 minutes for us to have our drinks ordered and brought out to us. Our server wasn’t friendly, attentive nor present honestly. My girlfriend saw him up front chatting to a hostess the whole time we ate instead of coming around to check on his tables. Luckily when our food came out everything was fantastic, fresh and tasty. We shared the sampler appetizer, I had a pepperoni and pineapple calzone and she had some kind of chic
The restaurant was nice inside but a little cramped sitting. The staff was all nice and helpful. Our waiter was nice. We had the sampler platter and I had a chicken parmesan. The food was all pretty good. And service was fast. Really the only down side was the dessert. We got a carrot cake slice to go. It looked more like half of a slice. That however was more of a good thing. The cake was extremely dry and mealy. And the frosting was bland. Probably the worst carrot cake I've ever had.
Service is what sets this place apart. We ate outside on the patio and we ended up being the only table of people left outside. Usually stay forget about you when you're out there but they were very attentive. Pretty good menu. Good quality food. Prices are fair.
