Shuckin' Shack Oyster Bar

Grabbed dinner with a buddy of mine here this past week. Casual and fun vibe, and they have a great assortment of appetizers to choose from. It was Thursday so it was 50% off apps so we each ordered a couple and they were generally all very good. I loved my ahi tuna appetizer, especially the sauces. The cold crab dip was good but not spectacular. My friend enjoyed his nachos with the blackened chicken and the shrimp skillet as well. They have a nice selection of beers and also some good bourbons. Service was friendly and efficient, no complaints. Will definitely return.

We really like this place. It can be mellow or buzzing with energy...it's great either way! The staff is great. Definitely, a great place to "catch the game"! We really enjoy Sunday brunch here! Good food, good cocktails, good people...what more do you need!?!

We were planning to go to H&B about a block away buuutttt they closed their kitchen midday (whatever). We didn’t want to walk to far so we literally stumbled into the Shuckin’ Shack and man am I glad we did. I had a half dozen of the oysters 🦪 of the day… these things were so incredibly fresh!!! The tasting notes on the menu were dead on and y’all!!!!!!!! The platter came with everything… lemon, vinegar, really good cocktail sauce, horseradish AND hot-sweet peppers!!! The beer was PERFECTLY ice 🧊 cold!!! Then I had wings… oh my goodness…. Sooo good!!! I can’t wait to go back!!! Our server was a sweetheart… an all around great experience!!!

We visited on Taco Tuesday and had MARVELOUS tuna tacos for $3 each and beers for $5. Also very good oysters for $1 each. We ate a lot and spent a lot, but far less than we were expecting. Service was excellent though the bartender, the only person working in the front of the house, could use some help.

Bathroom can be a little weird to find if backroom is empty. Has a rare 90 degree urinal placement. Should probably have a partition between urninal and door but I like a little privacy. Did like the octopus tentacle door handle on the main stall, not necessary but appreciated.
