Shotgun BBQ Restaurant and Grill

This was HANDS DOWN the best BBQ I’ve ever had. In my life. Period. Don’t pass this place up! Owned by a fun loving couple, inclusive and kind. Will be back tomorrow for lunch! Get the banana pudding. It’s made from scratch and almost made me cry.

Absolutely love this place! The food was amazing especially the burnt ends brisket. The owner and the staff were so friendly. We'll be back, a lot!

This restaurant is great! It's worth driving out of your way to find it. Ed and Angie are the most hospitable folks, and they treat you like family the first time you walk into their restaurant. The food is excellent and nicely smoked. The brisket is moist, and the ribs are perfectly seasoned. It's so good you don't need sauce, but you should because it's amazing too! The sides are fantastic and taste like grandma made them. You need to go to Shotgun BBQ and experience this!

My wife found this place in a search and wanted to see what all the 5-star ratings came from. We drove an hour to get there and were glad we did. Super nice people! They took care of us like we were family. Everything we had on our visit was great. The brisket was just right and the ribs were super. If you get close to Bay Minette/Spanish Fort/Daphne it is definitely worth the drive.

My wife and I are regulars. We try to get the pizza every week, it’s the best I have had. Ed and his wife are great people and I would highly recommend trying them out!
