The fried shrimp at this place is excellent. Well battered, cooked , and seasoned . The chicken is also really good. The wings are big, and they were well flavored. I tried the lemon pepper and the hot lemon pepper. The service was also really good.

I loved everything about my experience here except for the cake I ordered for dessert. It was strangely expensive, dry, and not at all representative of the other items I purchased. If the desserts are purchased from a third party, I would strongly encourage the establishment to find another vendor. The other items are just too tasty and reasonably priced to take a chance on a dessert that doesn't enhance the experience. In fact, the desserts distract from the overall positive experience. Please excuse the photos, it was so delicious that I was half-finished before I remembered to take pictures.

My food was hot, fresh and super delicious. The shrimp was cooked to perfection. I had flounder and jumbo shrimp. I also ordered a side of rice and beans. The price was reasonable. I left with enough for lunch. The young lady that served us was very pleasant and friendly. I will definitely return…and soon.

The fried lobster was great…. Be sure to tell them to fry it light. The red beans and rice were amazing! My meal came with fries but someone eating the red beans and rice was raving about them so I ordered a side of them and it was the right move. The dining room was clean and quiet. We had a great experience!

This is Durham's Best kept secret. You all do it right. Seasoned to perfection and portioned for the money spent! This was a birthday surprise for a broken hearted youth. He smiled all day long for weeks!
