Shirley’s Ice Cream

Stopped here on our way through the area and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of food and ice cream choices. Chili dogs each customized how we wanted, a delicious sausage sandwich with peppers & onions, a nice warm meatball sandwich and sodas for everyone. We ate at the picnic tables and went back in for our ice cream. Great customer service, Liz was so friendly and accommodating. 10/10 would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quick bite or a frozen treat.

Lovely place to grab some icecream and food, their Blackberry cobbler shake is very delicious. Gunna bring the family here next time!

We stumbled across this awesome spot yesterday, just off Hwy US1 in Franklinton, NC—and wow, it’s a hotdog lover’s dream! Their Nathan’s Beef Hotdog hit the spot! We tried the new meatball sandwich yesterday and it was amazing. And to top it off, they have a bunch of Blue Bell ice cream flavors too! Great food and even better company—had a fun convo with the owner while we were eating and the staff was super cool! We will be returning!
