Shipley Do-Nuts

Used to be good & have a good selection but the past 6 months or so it has really gone down hill. I've stopped a few different times about 15-20 minutes after they open & they have a lack of donuts, less than 20% of the racks have donuts with today only have 4 different racks of donuts. You walk in and have to wait about 5 minutes to even be acknowledged or helped. I have also gone in around 8 & have been told they are out of items, probably because they never even had them. It's gotten to the point that I'd rather give my business to Dunkin Donuts especially with them being so close.

Iris customer service was phenomenal!!! Giving it this PLACE four stars because it was my first time going in and it wasn't a super WOW however I could see myself going back, definitely a good spot if you need a boost while your loved one is in urgent care next door. (Didn't check to see if this spot had wifi for its guests, but comfortable enough to go back and refill my cup of joe of creamer if needed, definitely enough space to feel safe to do you.) Donuts could looks a bit nicer however I know there not bakers but just regular individuals, definitely tasted good. Needs a better coffee selection 😅 like dunkin' donuts.

Their cream filled are absolutely nothing like the pictures. The jelly had an acceptable amount of filling. The vanilla had about 10% of the amount of filling you typically get elsewhere, one bite had a small smear but I couldn’t taste it (no cream bulging from the donut end, as pictured). Seriously…the “filled bar” maple had NO filling. Why call it a “filled bar” if it’s just a big bar of dough with some frosting that makes it very thick to eat. Give your customers more filling in the donuts.

This is the first time we ate from here. We got kolaches, egg bacon, sausage cheese, egg bacon and egg sausage and sausage jalapeños ones; 8 in total. And a strawberry sprinkle donut for my daughter. My daughter loved the donut, and we all enjoyed breakfast.

I had a great experience when picking up a large order for work the other day. Jackson helped me out by making an additional batch of kolaches for me because I forgot to place the order ahead of time. Only took about 25 minutes and he had me set up and good to go. Great staff and great kolaches.
