Shipley Do-Nuts

Love Shipleys! Moved back to Maryland after living in Houston for 5 years where Shipleys is king among the donut chains. I was so sad to leave and not be able to get Shipleys. Now, I don’t have to be sad anymore! Very good customer service. Donuts good as always.

A new donut spot in Clinton with freshly made donuts. They're not overly sweet, and you are definitely able to enjoy the flavor of each donut. They have seasonal, unique, and your classics. I got the egg kolache (they have egg and sausage or bacon) that was good. I just had to add a little pepper to it.

Place started great but went downhill so fast. Picked up donuts this morning that were literally raw in the middle.

I had an issue with a large order and once I submitted my concerns, the manager reached out right away and handled the situation perfectly. Mistakes happen and this mistake was handled professionally and promptly. Well done Dante. We will definitely be back.

Maybe my expectations were too high. Unfortunately, Shipley Donuts lacks consistency. I eventually left because there were no hot donuts available. The staff member did kindly ask if I wanted to wait, but I just didn’t have 15 minutes to spare for a product that’s literally in their name. While I understand the focus on freshness and not wanting items to sit out, glazed donuts are the restaurant’s staple, so having to wait that long felt unusual. Perhaps I’m comparing it to the Shipley locations in Texas. I’d love to come back, but not for cold donuts that have been sitting out.
