Shik Do Rak 식도락 Korean BBQ

You will not find a better place for top tier quality kbbq at an amazing price. Our party of 6 ordered the 3-2 AYCE kbbq. The meat orders came out smoothly and the servers were attentive to our needs with great recommendations. You can see from the kitchen window that their meat is sliced fresh. 10/10 side dishes with my favorite being their radish and their own brisket sauce & hot chili sauce. I appreciated that there were no dishes that tasted overly sweet like how a lot of other restaurants make them. The highlight was for sure their dongchimi (cold radish) noodles -- it was hands down the most delicious I've had in all of OC. My mouth is salivating as I'm writing this. I NEED to go back!!! Hands down, found my new permanent go-to kbbq spot. Not to mention that the interior is beautiful

WOWOWWWW THEY ARE FINALLY OPEN (11-28-2025). We had such an amazing experience today eating KOREAN BBQ! I sat in a table of 4 and we opted for the 3-2 AYCE menu and I swear we ate more today than we did at Thanksgiving yesterday 😮‍💨 Everything was SO TASTY. Our server, Dante, was the BEST. He recommended a lot of his favorite dishes and was so accommodating and sweet. We really enjoyed the marinated short ribs, pork neck toro, and of course the brisket. Their rice paper is SLICK and the soups hit the spot. But YOU CANNOT MISS the cold radish noodle soup and the FRIED RICE! Wow the fried rice was crispy and peppery mmmmm sooooo good. Decided to try Shik Do Rak for the first time! I thought the ambiance and service was great, I loved the interior and their organization for the tables - very clean and stylish, as well as the whole restaurant being of a modern vibe. I rate it 3 stars because I feel other KBBQ places nearby have better and tastier quality meat. Shik Do Rak tasted pretty bland, in my opinion. They do have a nice selection of choices though - just not a big fan of the seasoning or their meat. Marinated short ribs didn't have a taste and was chewy... Not sure if any other customers had noticed. But nice atmosphere! Our waitress was friendly and super attentive - older Korean woman.

If you’re familiar with shikdoraks other locations you can expect the same premium meats, speedy service, and dank 동시미국수 (cold noodle) at this new la Palma expansion. I got the AYCE and most enjoyed the 차돌(brisket), 양념갈비(marinated short ribs), and 됀장찌개(soybean paste soup). Hard to go wrong. Meal hit the spot!!!! Thank you!!!

Shik do rak is a known name in OC for great korean bbq and of course I was excited to try their new additional location. Their meat quality and taste were the highest and on par or better than their original location location. There are three all you can eat options and also a la carte. I would recommend 3-2 AYCE as the best bang for your buck, but wouldn't mind splurging for 3-1 when I can! All the servers were attentive and friendly. In addition to their meats, the sides hit the spot. I always love a good soy bean soup! The ambiance is modern, yet homey. I could see myself coming back with my friends for late night food and drinks or bringing the family for a nice, wholesome dinner. All in all, a great new addition for La Palma and definitely one of my new go to's!
