I visited the library today and went downstairs in the main building to see the new children's area. The changes are really nice. There is even an interactive little wall like thing for younger kids/toddlers. They had upcoming calendar posted and it looks like a lot of good children's activities for all ages, even tiny ones. I recommend the Shelbyville Library for children and parents.

I went to the Computer Lab and the receptionist was a real treat. Super friendly and informative. Answered all my questions with ease and even gave me some pointers on my resume. She made me aware that I did have a balance on my card and allowed me a one-time per year pass to ensure I was able to get my business there completed. Very relaxing atmosphere with beautiful artwork throughout. I just love the calming water fountain outside and the relaxing vibe nestled in downtown Shelbyville.

Took the kids for kids club today They painted on glass picture frames and they came out awesome! The kids had a blast they have so many things to do for all ages.... Did you know you can find all the Chilton manuals for your car online through your library card?

We recently moved into Shelby County and got our library cards set up. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly helpful and welcoming! We got our new cards and a tour of the building. My kids loved meeting the children’s staff! They made sure each of my kids knew where their favorite books would be found. We look forward to visiting often!
