Shearwater Inn

My husband and I stayed at the Shearwater Inn over the summer and we had a wonderful time. Our room was beautiful and spotless, and Maureen was a lovely host. Both mornings our breakfast was spot on, and it was fun talking to Maureen about the area before heading out for the day. We always stay at B&Bs instead of hotels because we enjoy the personal touch, and the Shearwater more than delivered on that account! We will definitely be coming back next summer!

Stayed here last weekend, July 14-16, 2017. Have stayed in a few B&Bs in the Hamptons, but this is by far the nicest! Maureen and Tom could not have been more accommodating. Breakfasts were so delicious, and included fresh fruit daily. We had what they offered, but I overheard someone with dietary issues, and they made her whatever she wanted. Everything was immaculate, and we had no problems with anything at all. Located walking distance to town, if you are inclined, or a two minute car ride. Stone Creek Inn restaurant is 2 minutes away. Stay here!!

What a really beautiful B&B! There are four rooms. I stayed in the Red Toile room and it was big and airy and light with antique furniture. Perfect! I don't think I have ever seen a more cleaner room. Bathroom was very nice with jetted tub and separate shower. The great room for all the guests was very large with seating and dining tables for the breakfast. The hosts Maureen and Tom were so nice and friendly, I enjoyed speaking with them. Their little dog Lilly was adorable. They have beach passes for the guests which was a nice addition since I was looking forward to going to one of the beaches. I had such a nice weekend at this B&B. And would love to go back again. It is located between Hampton Bay and Westhampton Beach.

Stood here for 2 night with one of my friends. Had a very wonderful stay. Maureen and Tom were very understanding when we had to arrive after the check in hours. Breakfast was very tasty. We had mint scrambled eggs the first morning and French toast the second morning. They had fresh fruit, toast, coffee and pastries served during breakfast as well. It is a modest room, but definitely sufficed our expectations. Would stay here again!
