Hands down the best soup dumplings I’ve had. I genuinely think this place is better than Din Tai Fung. The XLB here are 1000 times better, way juicier, more flavorful, and the wrapper has the perfect texture. Every bite was packed with rich broth and seasoned perfectly. And the best part, it’s about half the price. You’re getting higher quality without the premium markup. Service was friendly, food came out hot and fresh, and the atmosphere felt authentic and welcoming. If you’re debating between here and Din Tai Fung, come here. You won’t regret it.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - and we're back again! Always a great place to go for XLB. We ordered Traditional Shanghai Xiao Long Bao, Spicy Wonton in Chili Oil Sauce, and House Fried Rice with Shrimp. Food was delicious without being salty. The XLB was sweeter than I remembered but still enjoyable. The spicy wontons were great and my SO used the chili oil soup for the XLB and the fried rice. The fried rice was simple but quite flavorful and they were generous with the amount of shrimp given. Service: 5/5 - we did visit the location just before 5 so it was empty with no wait. Service was very quick still and they were at our table refilling the tea the moment we ran out. Ambiance: 5/5 - since it was before dinner rush, the restaurant was quiet but you can hear the conversation from the kitche

The shengjian bao were great — crispy skin, lots of soup, and well-seasoned filling. The pork xiao long bao were also tasty with a clean, savory broth. I really liked the cold shredded tofu, which was fragrant and nicely chewy. The Shanghai spicy noodle soup was disappointing: the broth had almost no flavor and potatoes were used instead of bamboo shoots. The soy sauce duck was also underwhelming. Worth coming for the dumplings, but I’d skip the noodles and duck.

I ventured to Chinatown just outside the Strip of Las Vegas to satisfy my inner foodie and try the soup dumplings from Shanghai Taste. The parking lot was very busy but I managed to snag a parking spot in front of the restaurant. I placed my name in the waiting list and waited 10 minutes until my name was called. You can watch the employees hand rolling the soup dumplings while you wait. I ordered the following items: 1) Shanghai Scallion Pancake - $4.95 2) Traditional Shanghai Xiao Long Bai - $11.95 3) Angus Beef Xiao Long Bao - $11.95 The scallion pancake had a perfect crisp and was not too oily. It was a nice texture change from the soft soup dumplings. I preferred the Traditional over the Angus Beef Xiao Long Bao. The Traditional was done great minus the slightly thicker skin on th

There’s so much to say about Shanghai Taste and yet this review alone won’t do it enough justice. This is a true hidden gem in the Vegas area. Located in Vegas’ Chinatown, Shanghai Taste is pretty accessible with a large parking lot out front and with it being a short 10 min drive from the strip. The interior feels humble, ruddy showing of the chefs preparing the dumplings as you wait for your table. We arrived with a large party of 10 or so and had to wait about 10 minutes before we could be seated. They don’t have many seats so reservations are a must here. When we were seated we ordered just about half the entire menu. We got traditional soup dumplings, fish dumplings, pan fried dumplings, two different fried rice, scallion pancakes, chicken chow mein, and wok choy. Every. Single. Thin
