Customer Reviews
We enjoyed our visit here, even though they were practically out of every beer on tap. We visited during Saturday of Thanksgiving Weekend. We were able to try the Without a Paddle IPA and Hazy Train IPA. Hazy Train was citrus forward with a typical IPA hazy bitter. Chicken tenders and fries meal was so delicious! Brussel sprouts and potato skins. Very generous portions. Server was friendly and attentive.
I've frequented this establishment every road trip I've been on when it's along the way, and have always had great service and a good experience. Today I stopped by the Mexican restaurant first for a neat pour of Casa Azul. I ordered two at 40 dollars each. My buddy's neat pour had a piece of food in the glass. When brought to the bartender's attention, he removed the food particle with his finger and gave the pour back. We were trying to be non confrontational, so we finished them and headed over to Shale Creek. We gave them a thumbs down on the way out. When we arrived at Shale Creek he followed us over and told the bartender not to serve us. They advised and we left. The experience made my black friend very uneasy as we heard the folks at the Mexican establishment rattling off slurs as
Came here for the first time recently. We had the nachos recommended to us and they did not disappoint! Prices are good, portions are better. Food was delicious and staff was real nice! Felt like a higher quality quick bbq place but a more relaxed atmosphere. Heard good things about their beer too!
100% recommend! We went here because our first restaurant option was too packed. Glad we made the change in plans! The BBQ Nachos are delicious and a large is enough to feed 2-3 people. Our table shared it. I also got the fried pork tenderloin sandwich. It was good but definitely needed some sort of sauce! It’s rather dry without any sauce added to it. All that being said, our waitress was super kind and helpful and the food was great!
The cocktail I had was fine and the beer I had was okay. The chicken thighs were too smoky and tough. Service was slow, although our server was very enthusiastic.
