Shake Shake Seafood Monroe

To tell you the truth I didn't notice this place was here until this week. It was nice that the hostess put us in a place to watch the football game. Our server was quick and attentive. We are definitely coming back!!

This review is overdue. I stopped by on Saturday, 12-31-22. I was leaving Target & wanted dinner from a new spot to end the year. I picked a good time to go as they were not very busy. I ordered the shrimp hot with all the seasonings. I also added a side of hush puppies; they were ok but I probably wouldn't order them again. I spoke to who I believe was the owner while waiting for my order. We talked about the sister restaurant on Independence in Charlotte. If I'm hungry while in Monroe, I'd stop by again.

If you love seafood, especially Crab legs and shrimp, do yourself a favor and go to Shake Shake now! Husband got the crab and shrimp low country boil, I got the shrimp and mussels low country boil. It's a ton of food and incredibly delicious. The atmosphere is beautiful and truly clean. The bathroom was spotless ( I judge a restaurant by it's bathroom. If the bathroom is neglected and dirty, the kitchen probably is too). Our waiter was very helpful explaining the choices since it was our first time. Food was prompt and hot. Mixed drinks were created perfectly. We're about an hour and 15 minutes away but are going to make the trip over and over just to eat here again. Food and experience was memorable. Food is more affordable at lunch (prior to 3pm) they have great lunch combos.

1st time at this location. Eric was our server and did an outstanding job, knowledgeable, attentive and a very pleasant personality. The crab legs, shrimp, sausage, potatoes and corn were great. The napkin dispenser can use some work 😂😂😂 May have been to full or it’s design. Had a wonderful experience and will return.

The food is low country boil in a bag but you choose what is in there. It is pretty pricy. $30 for a crab, shrimp, sausage special. Plenty of shrimp, overmuch on sausage and short on crab. It was very good and if you leave hungry it's your fault. Eric our server was outstanding.
