Union County Library

While visiting family in Monroe we stopped in to the library to use a computer. What a beautiful facility, and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. There are so many wonderful books to borrow, but also games, puzzles and even bookgroup kits! Such a great community asset. Thanks for welcoming us!

While living in Monroe, going to this library with my littles was their absolute favorite place to go! I have visited so many public libraries and by far this one tops the charts as one of my favorites. The staff are the absolute BEST, and in my experience they have always been so helpful and patient with my littles running a muck inside. My husband loved studying for grad school here. They have a fantastic selection of books for adults. And, probably most impressively of all, their children's section is unmatched. The way they have the picture books arranged is so approachable for me and my children. They have the BEST array of children's toys and activities that give all my different aged children something to play with and see. I love that the computers are on the back/side wall so when

Would be nice if they did not mix in hidden LGBTQ KIDS books with all kids books. Sadly this has become a recurrent issue. I understand this is a “public library” but books with this disgusting teaching should come with a warning label.

One of my baby's favorite places! Staff is fantastic! Always so friendly and fun! Babies and Books is our favorite activity in town !

The library has study rooms that can be reserved or available on a first come first serve bases and free internet. Great for meetings and training.
