Shakahari - Vegetarian Indian Cuisine

We chanced to stop by at this place on our way back to the Hudson valley after a stay in Cape Cod. We wanted a pure vegetarian place and we Came upon this place. It is Just like being at home especially if you’re from India. The couple lovingly catered to us and we enjoyed the food. Deliciously made with care. A warm and plain atmosphere. Healthy home made meals. I will go back here soon.

Great vegetarian food, made fresh to order. The owners are lovely and will tell you stories about growing up in India, if you ask!

I went along with my family to Shakahari restaurant.It just felt like a home there and they start preparing the food only after we order,right from the scratch.Very hygienic and the people there were so interactive,making us feel comfortable to enjoy the food.Highly recommended for vegetarians.
