Shah's Halal Food - Middletown

Came here to pick up a quick bite to eat for my mother. I ordered her the 6 piece falafel balls and a chicken gyro. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The food was okay. The falafel balls were pretty good but the chicken gyro was very soggy and after taking a few bites , I bit into a hard fat chunk of chicken.

We had a great experience at Shah’s Halal Food The food was really delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. Everything was served hot, and the service was very fast, which we really appreciated. What made the visit even better was the staff. There was an Indian guy whose name starts with V (sorry we forgot the full name). He has curly hair, is always smiling, very respectful, and funny too. He was easy to talk to and made the whole experience feel welcoming and comfortable. Super cool guy, and great customer service like that really stands out. We’ll definitely come back again and recommend this place to our friends. Keep up the great work!

I love halal food especially gyro over rice. I was out in the area with my sister and came to try out this place and the food was absolutely amazing more than what I expected. Both my sister & I enjoyed our meal. The portion was a good size we left the place with a full belly. The people working here were very nice & friendly. Definitely recommend this place if you like halal food ☺️

I got a half-lamb half-chicken salad and it was great. I do wish there was an option for a rice bowl because I think it would’ve tasted much better that way. But the salad was still calm and it only cost around 12 bucks. I do wish they gave me more meat, though. It got kind of mid near the end but I asked for some hot sauce and it carried. The sauce is pretty hot and well seasoned. All things considered, I would come here again to try some other stuff because I see potential.
