Apizza Heaven

Owner is an amazing person and the pizza was absolutely top notch. You can tell a lot of care goes into every single order, from the way the crust is cooked to how fresh all the ingredients taste. And if you’re a fan of crispy wings, these are a must-try seriously some of the best I’ve had in the area. The place feels like a true local gem, the kind of spot you end up telling everyone about. Highly recommend stopping in and supporting them!

Had lunch today at Apizza Heaven in Middletown. They opened in March of this year, but this place has clearly been living in Chris’ head for a very long time before that, and it shows in every bite. The spot itself is small, clean, and unassuming, no flash, no gimmicks. Counter-style, quiet hum of ovens working, the smell of fermenting dough and bubbling sauce in the air. The kind of place where the pizza is supposed to do the talking… and boy, does it ever. I had: • A small plain cheese • A small secret menu pizza (ssshhhhh…) The plain cheese was everything you want in a pizza and then some. Came to Apizza Heaven for the first time based on a recommendation on a pizzaholics group. I had a few slices and I have to say, it was great. The crust had this perfect crunch to it and each slice had lots of flavor. In looking at their menu, there is lots to offer. I look forward to returning and to try something else! The owner and his sister were there. Down to earth, genuine people. We chatted briefly. The restaurant is quaint and nicely appointed. If you are in the area, definitely give them a try.

Spicy Italian pie was exceptionally AWESOME! Classic cheese pie one of the best I’ve had. New Haven style apizza. You know it’s good when it’s fresh and hot you know it’s really good when you can reheat and still enjoy Meatball sub ok but not as mind blowing great as the pizza. Small resto with 3 booths. Highly recommended.

I’m from Jersey and I can’t help but be bias to my own pizza and Italian food, but Apizza heaven gives me piece of home! It is by far the best italian food in CT!!! Not only is the food amazing, but the portions are great. Their sauce is outstanding and so is their service!
