Shah’s Halal Food - Cliffside Park

Tried Shah’s Halal Food in Cliffside Park. I had the chicken & lamb combo, delicious. My wife had the chicken platter with rice and veggies, she loves it! I’d definitely go back. The manager Yasser was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the food. The Only thing: they went heavy on the white sauce. Next time, I’ll ask for it on the side. Still worth it.

Shah’s Halal is such a great addition to Cliffside Park! They started as a single food cart in Queens back in 2005, and now they’ve grown into a 100% Halal-certified international brand with 120+ locations and it’s easy to see why. Their food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and made with humanely sourced meats and crisp veggies. The menu has something for everyone: platters, gyros, burgers, salads, and even vegan options. And of course, the legendary white sauce… it’s a must. I always ask for extra because it truly makes every bite better. I tried the cheesesteak and it was incredibly comforting and packed with flavor. If you’re craving Halal, this is the spot plus they’re open late! Highly recommend checking them out.

I bought the Chicken & Lamb Combo Over Rice. It wasn’t bad but could use more flavor. My BIGGEST complaint is the portions. When you have Places like “Blazin Chicken” who give nearly double the food & are CHEAPER, why would I come here? My friend & I were surprised by the portions since we paid $32 for two platters & two drinks (I paid $26 at BLAZIN for the same order & got more food.) The guy serving the food was very nice so customer service was great.

Nice little place on Anderson Avenue, friendly service and very clean place. I just had a lamb gyro that was bursting out of the grilled pita with freshness and flavor!! Great price and good portions!!
