Bug in food | Poor response from Manager. We dine here pretty regularly about once a week or every other week. Service is usually fine. The staff is young and, from my perspective, they generally do their best. This visit was different. About halfway through my first bowl, I noticed a dead fly in my soup. It was fully cooked, so I assume it came in with the vegetables or ingredients and had been there the entire time. Obviously, that was pretty gross. That said, I wasn’t offended and didn’t blame the employees. These things can happen, and I don’t expect staff to be able to control every variable. I mainly wanted to let them know so they were aware. I mentioned it to our server who was actually outstanding and he said he’d get the manager. The manager came over (an older gentleman) and

Our first Shabuya experience and we loved it!From the moment we entered the staff was welcoming and attentive. Great customer service ❤️ we enjoyed the experience of making our own food and had a great conversation with our family. The space was very clean, floors, booths, plates etc. the air circulation is great! Even though there was a few of us the scent of the whole restaurant wasn’t overtaken. I mention it as my son is sensitive to too many overwhelming scents.

First time at the Kapolei location after trying the Ala Moana location. On par. Fresh seafood and vegetables. Service was quick and the staff were very courteous.

Went there Friday about 1245p with the family, 6 of us. Lots of free parking. Of course it was nice and clean. The service was prime. The buffet line had more than the ala moana location... more seafood, my fave. The meats were cut perfect. Needed a little more flavor in the bases, but pretty decent. I would go here again

Thank you very much Aisha!!! Very responsive bartender with great customer service!! Always ensured our beers were topped off prior to requesting to include asking if we wanted to order more meats. We greatly appreciate all the staffs immediate action both on cleaning used dishes and always asking if we wanted to order more.
