Oh my goodness, I just had my very first HOT POT experience and it was absolutely delicious! The staff at this place were incredibly welcoming and greeted us with big smiles as soon as we walked in. The restaurant has a simple yet tidy vibe that I really appreciated. Our waiter was so quick to bring us our drinks, and his warm and friendly smile made us feel right at home. You could just tell he's a genuinely kind person. My son and daughter-in-law had dined here before and they guided us on how to order. They even gave us a little tour and helped me get started on creating a fantastic and steaming hot meal! The food was beyond amazing and the portions were so generous. Excellent soup base options. Meats are great quality. Our go to place for hearty and comforting food. My favorite is spicy and my husband loves the vegetarian.

This was my first time trying hot pot, and Shabu Shack made it unforgettable! From the moment we walked in, the restaurant was clean, welcoming, and had a great vibe. We let our waitress know it was our first time, and she was incredibly helpful — walking us through the process step by step with patience and a smile. The service was top-notch, and every single item we tried was fresh and flavorful. Even the dessert was amazing! I’m so glad we chose Shabu Shack for our first hot pot experience — we’ll definitely be back to Sacramento just for this!

I come here once a week with my husband, and we always split the miso and they have such a cool ingredients for where you can fill up your own condiments, as well as try out new flavors. The menu is so easy to understand, the service is always amazing, and they always serve us really fast thank you so much.
