Cuneo Bakery

Cuneo Bakery is an absolute gem. Their pastries are amazing, and the fresh-baked focaccia is some of the best I’ve had — all very reasonably priced, which makes it even better. This is a wonderful family-owned business, and the staff couldn’t be kinder. They handled our giant order with so much care, carefully wrapping everything up for us. My must-haves are the cherry and cream cheese pastry and the original red sauce focaccia — both are outstanding. If you’re anywhere nearby, this bakery is definitely worth a visit.

Lovely italian pastries and focaccia. I enjoyed the almond croissant very much, it wasn’t overly sweet. The pesto focaccia was just okay, I think it needs a balsamic drizzle or tomato for some acid to control the strong pesto flavor. Very affordable prices! I was pleasantly surprised since CA always seems expensive (I’m not local)

Sometimes when you go to a place, it’s not just the delicious food but also the warm connection with the staff who make and serve the food that makes the place special and memorable. Cuneo Bakery is one such little gem in downtown South San Francisco. It’s a family owned restaurant that makes a variety of unique focaccia breads and other pastries. Everything we tasted was very good. The owners (a family of three generations from Italy) were so warm and sweet. The owner told me that their focaccia dough rises three times following a traditional recipe to give the pillowy texture . The price was incredibly reasonable. We will go back to sample more of their baked goods very soon!

I stumbled upon this hidden gem and didn’t expect much at first, but I was pleasantly surprised. Everything on the menu looked delicious, and I had a hard time choosing. I ended up trying the sourdough bun with cheddar cheese and jalapeños, and it turned out to be one of the best snacks I’ve had in a long time. Simply amazing. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

A very good place if you like Italian breads and baked goods. I usually buy at least 3 whole focaccia bread every time I visit. My favorites are pepperoni, artichoke garlic, pepperoni and sausage, pesto, and feta cheese and garlic. The breads are tasty with the aroma of spices,cheeses they use and freshness of the bread.They rotate the ingredients so it never gets boring. I also love the jalapeño bread rolls, ham and cheese croissants, cookies and pastries. I never had anything I didn't like here. A small family business with a big heart.
