If you’re craving hand-pulled noodles with real texture and bite, Biang Biang Noodles delivers. The noodles are thick, wide, and perfectly chewy — you can tell they’re freshly made. I ordered the biang biang noodles with chili oil and loved the balance of heat and savory flavor. The chili oil had a nice kick without overpowering everything else. The toppings were generous — crisp bok choy, tofu cubes, mushrooms, and bean sprouts added great texture contrast. Portions are filling, and the bowl came out hot and fragrant. Only reason it’s not a full 10/10 is that the seasoning could’ve been slightly bolder. But overall, a solid spot for authentic, comforting Xi’an-style noodles.

Shaanxi Chinese Restaurant on N Dobson Rd in Mesa was truly an unforgettable experience. Our family of ten went there to celebrate a special occasion, and from start to finish everything exceeded expectations. The atmosphere was lively yet comfortable, with a perfect balance of authentic charm and modern comfort. The music set a warm and energetic tone that made the evening feel festive and inviting. It wasn’t too loud or distracting—just the right touch to keep the energy up and complement the dining experience. The food was exceptional. Every dish was bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and served hot and fresh. There's a QR code on the table to open the menu and order. Food was delicious and good portion for the price. Service was a bit slow especially since the restaurant was empty, but the food made up for it. Felt authentic. Ordered Sesame Chicken and Chicken Fried Rice, enough to share for two people and take home leftovers.

Went to Shaanxi for lunch yesterday and the BiangBiang noodles did not disappoint, so yummy, and perfect texture. Stir fried eggplant and green beans were delicious, cumin lamb was amazing. The rou jia mo was flavorful. The braised spicy chicken had tons of potatoes and the chicken was chopped really small and with the bones it was hard to enjoy. We didn't care for the dish, I did like the tingly. We would go again and try more of the menu. Restaurant is very clean and our server, Shirley, was helpful.

This is five stars because it’s my favorite Chinese place that I’ve been to in Phoenix so far. The decor is very quaint and beautiful and feels very authentic Staff was very nice. Food was really good. Everything was amazing except my only complaint was we ordered three different dishes and they were all kind of extra sweet. The meat and vegetables were perfect, but I ordered Kung pow chicken and I think it was like the Szechuan beef and I think the other one was like garlic chicken or something like that and they all had a really sweet sauce like they were trying to make the Americans happy Still, they were very good. I just it would be OK if there was like a savory dish every now and again and it doesn’t have to be so sweet. It might just be me though because I’ve been recently g
