Love Señor Grubby’s, their take on the Cali burrito is great. Theirs has a layer of grilled cheese on the outside, so it’s not really a hand held but it’s good. I really like their verde salsa as well. My son was into their beans and rice burrito, said it was his favorite

Since our arrival in San Diego I was looking forward to having an authentic California Burrito. My wife and I looked around and searched for a spot that looked promising and couldn’t have made a better choice than Senor Grubby’s. This place really blew us away, from the service to the atmosphere and most importantly the food. The Cali Burrito had amazing meat, well seasoned, tender and plentiful and the right amount of cilantro, pico, cheese, and most importantly fries. It didn’t disappoint. We decided to sit out back at the bar which was nice, very casual and cozy. Also, the TJ hot dog sounded interesting so we had to give it a try. It also was delicious.

We are breakfast burrito freaks and we decided to try theirs when we were in Carlsbad this weekend. They were one of the best we've ever had! Well done...

Love the shrimp tacos. Nice selection of American / Mex influenced beers. Atmosphere is always excellent. Positive people behind the bar are a joy. Snr Grubbys is possibly my favourite Carlsbad place to have a beer. Nice place to watch US sports on the tv…
