Seymour Library

Lovely library that makes a good use of space to create a calm and cozy environment. There’s a nice teen section with booths and activities and an impressive local history room with artifacts and exhibits. I loved the activities they had out, like puzzles and weaving. Glad I stopped here while in Brockport! 🏳️‍🌈📚🧩🖥️

This library is very clean and organized they have a wide selection of books,dvds and audiobooks. They offer a lot of programs for the kids too.

As someone who needs a quiet space to work, this probably isn’t the library for that. Someone was singing and it could be heard across the entire library as its is so small (not the fault of the staff, but it seems like quiet isn’t really enforced here). It seems like a nice place, just not for someone who needs a relatively quiet space to do work, read, etc. Seems to have a lot of resources and cool spaces for kids and adults though!

I love this place. I just want to write in response to another review, that if you feel the library is too noisy at times, there are quiet rooms you can rent at no cost. They are practically sound proof. Love my local Seymour Library!
