Seoul Gourmet Korean Cuisine

We stopped by after a Costco run since it was close, and honestly didn’t expect much — but the food turned out to be pretty good. We ordered the steamed egg, seafood pancake, pork belly, kimchi jjigae, and LA Kalbi. The side dishes were fewer and not as impressive compared to other Korean restaurants. As for the dishes themselves: the steamed egg was good but a bit bland, the seafood pancake was unfortunately mushy and not crispy at all, so we wouldn’t order that again. The pork belly was solid, and the LA Kalbi was delicious — definitely something we’d come back for 😋. The kimchi jjigae was just average. Now for the service. It could definitely use improvement. I’ve been here a couple of times before, and this time we came as a group with a reservation. They had everything set up on time, and the food came out really well organized. I especially loved how many different side dishes they brought!!! My picks were the gganpung chicken and the cream shrimp. I'd definitely come back for those. The atmosphere was great and the service was really friendly. Overall, we had a really good experience! Thank you!!

Seoul Gourmet is an amazing addition to Stoughton; easily one of the best Korean spots on the South Shore, if not in MA! Service was fantastic, and the manager Ray was very attentive and receptive to feedback. We tried a multitude of items and everything was delicious. My favorites were the Galbi, the Seafood Scallion Pancake, and the Bibimbap. The Galbi was melt-in-your mouth perfection and incredibly tender. I also loved the Soondae Gukbap which was rich, comforting, and perfect for the cold winter days. The portions were generous, I had plenty of leftovers to enjoy the next day! I was impressed by their Banchan selection, which is made in house! They were really fresh and delicious; the kimchi and pickled radish are some of my faves. Being a Korean I am very picky with Korean food. Seoul Gourmet is definitely one of the best Korean food in Boston hands down. I got the pork gukbap and mackerel which tasted like home, like it had my grand mother’s touch to it. Pork Katsu had me reminiscing my childhood, crunchy with soft meat on the inside and most importantly the authentic Korean sauce that came with it. Sundae (blood sausage) was incredibly soft and the side dishes accommodated the flavor so perfectly. Weirdly enough the crab Rangoon is one of the best crab rangoons I’ve ever had, owner tells me that it’s hand made. Been here a few times and they are very consistent with how the food taste. Perhaps it’s because the owner is present every day. 10/10 would definitely come back again

My first time trying this restaurant was from UberEats and I ordered the BimBimBap and Korean fried wings which was AMAZING. Today I went to the restaurant and ordered the spicy beef soup which was HORRIBLE. The beef tasted like freezer burn and I couldn't chew it. The broth was flavorless, it was basically red colored water. On a cold day like today I wanted to love and indulge in a flavor bursting spicy soup and what I got was a mistake! I left the soup and paid my bill in full.
