Self Brewed Coffee House

Absolutely beautiful local coffee shop , I have been wishing for one in Taft for so long and they don’t disappoint. The drinks taste absolutely amazing, matcha taste high quality (made with a traditional whisk!). I like their signature drinks, they decorated them in ways that really sets them apart from other coffee shops. The aesthetic of the shop is very cozy and nice, I love the furniture. It’s a small building but they used the space nicely. I appreciate the good customer service skills, both baristas make friendly conversation and are very polite. The baked goods also pair well with the drinks, everything is priced fairly.

A Sip of Comfort in a Fading Town In a town slowly being swallowed by dust and memory, where the hum of oil rigs has long since stilled, this café latte was a quiet triumph. The shop itself felt like a holdout against time—bare bones, but warm-hearted. The latte came out with a modest swirl of foam, nothing flashy, but everything intentional. The espresso held depth, a gentle smokiness that echoed the past grit of the town, softened by milk that was steamed just shy of sweet. There was no hustle outside, no traffic rumble—just the sound of wind nudging forgotten signage. Yet inside, that single cup offered a touch of elegance, a reminder that even where prosperity has drained away, good craft and care can still bloom.

Superior service & phenomenal drinks. Toasted Teddy Graham-iced was made perfectly! Baked goods are delicious and not too sweet. Perfect for a quick breakfast. I’d have to say, they are way better than the big coffee chain in town. I wish them a future full of success.

So excited to have a quaint and cozy coffee shop in town! The atmosphere is great and the drinks are so good! The owners are upbeat and make a point to make you feel at home. My new go to!
