Second Street American Bistro

I love this place!!! Our server this evening was Christine. She did a wonderful job! Christine was very friendly, courteous, respectful, and professional. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the meatloaf and my son had the catfish. The food arrived at our table quickly and was cooked to perfection! This was not my first time here and it definitely won't be my last!!

We had a delicious lunch here! Lots of options for gluten free, vegetarian, and allergies. Our server was Marquera (Q) and she did a fabulous job. She was helpful in explaining things on the menu, kept our drinks full, checked on us often, and did everything with a smile and a great attitude! I am gluten free and loved having so many options! Q was very knowledgeable about how I eat and made sure I knew about the gluten free chocolate dessert. We will be back!

Tonight's dinner was @secondstnn! It was really tasty! Drink: Drunken Pumpkin Bird Dog Pumpkin Spice Whiskey, Chilled Apple Cider, Lemon juice, and Simple syrup I also had a Devil's Backbone Vienna Lager Apps: Duck Rangoons Corn, Duck Bacon, and Cream Cheese Stuffed Wontons with Sweet Thai Chili Sauce Smoked Gouda Grit Cakes Entrée: Grilled Bison Meatloaf Ground Bison, Beef, and Pork Meatloaf, Mashed Yukon Gold Potatoes, Vegetable du Jour (broccoli), and Demi Glace The drink was fall in a glass. It was so comforting and made me super happy. I highly recommend it. The duck rangoons... these we so duckin' good. They were perfect and wouldn't change a thing. I have so much respect and admiration for Second Street American Bistro in Newport News, Virginia. This restaurant has always been one of my absolute favorites, and I knew it would be the perfect choice for hosting my birthday brunch in their private dining room. Absolutely loved the atmosphere and vibes. Food was amazing! Kristine was an amazing host kudos to her and the extra care she took for our table and even my last minute changes and to go orders! A Phenomenal dinner! Will definitely be coming back
