Secaucus Public Library Annex

Came here hoping for a quiet study spot and wouldn’t recommend. The librarians were extremely loud and lost in their own side conversations

This is a little oasis near the Xchange which has a room dedicated to kids which is a blessing during winters where parents are struggling to take their kids.There absolutely nothing near Xchange to do anything.Whoever is managing this place has got a big heart to open it for kids which is great relief for exhausted parents.A safe warm place for families to come together with their toddler kids.Yes like most people here we had similar experience with an elderly lady working here but apart from her everyone there is very polite and friendly.

Front desk lady was extremely rude when snatching a paperback children’s book out of my 15-month-old’s hands. She approached us saying he was not allowed to have that book, then proceeded to rip it out of his grip. I had hoped I found my family’s public library location to foster my baby’s reading development, but instead we will NOT be returning.

I came in to get a library card (for the first time) and the woman at the front desk was so insistent that I was already given a card and "misplaced" it. At the end, she realized that she was wrong, but didn't apologize. Very strange experience.

I have nothing but good things to say about this library and the people work here. I have been here multiple times since its opening and always have a great experience, whether its printing or going with kid for play/reading book.
