J&V Bagels and Deli

All I can say is YUM! 100% hit the spot for my bagel craving. In Secaucus for work and googled breakfast nearby, and this place had 4.8 so decided to try it and am so glad I did. Small corner joint in a residential area, 6:30 on a Saturday so pretty quiet. Service was so friendly and very quick! Plenty of bagels to choose from and not sure what they are, but flagels too. Portions are pretty big, bagels are made in house daily so have a perfect chew. I got the pumpernickel egg cheese and taylor ham...perfection! Also grabbed a corn muffin for later and he gave the biggest one on the plate! (He also had banana, blueberry and pistachio). The vibes are 💯 here, a local bagel joint not to be missed! The bagels were delicious and served perfectly, coffee was hot and fresh, cream cheese perfectly cool and creamy! We especially loved the charming outdoor seating area and all the friendly people sitting out here enjoying the cool morning. Will return!

I've been going here since they opened and I can't believe I haven't reviewed them yet. Great people run this place and give thoughtful service every time. It definitely has a home town feel, like you matter when you walk in the door. Everything we have gotten here is great. We typically get a bunch of bagels and spreads to have family bunch at home. I haven't used the patio since I live so close, but it is a cute space to eat your lunch or have a coffee. Great addition to our neighborhood and I wish them many, many, many years or success! This restaurant ticks all the boxes. It was rated at 4.8 stars, so we expected a home run, but it was a grand slam. We got a sesame bagel with lox spread, on top of which we added lox, sliced tomato, capers and red onion. There was a good selection of flavored cream cheese spreads. The one we had was very creamy and fresh. Bagels are baked on the premises daily. The price was very reasonable. We each had one half, and it was very satisfying.

I recently moved to Secaucus and tried out this bagel place for the first time. It was so good! Had the whole wheat everything with egg and cheese... highly recommend. The staff are so friendly, and they make you feel a part of the family instantly.
