Seaside Library

I love this library. I’ve been coming for the past several weeks to write on my book. Most of the time I’m lucky enough to get the board room where I have absolute silence. Otherwise I use the tables along the walls with lovely window views. Every one has been nice Everything I need has been here. Except Kleenex. Ha ha. 😆 sometimes the internet is very slow to connect for me. Thank you Seaside for having such a great library.

The districting for the libraries in this area is absolutely atrocious. My mailing address is in Gearhart, which has no library, and this library cannot make an exception (neither could Warrenton or Astoria libraries). So I painstakingly got mail delivered to where I live physically in Seaside, but my address is "outside of city limits" (even though my address is "Seaside"), which means I would have to pay a monthly subscription fee just to own a library card. For the Library of the town that I live in. What sort of library forces people who live in the same town to PAY for a library card? I can't afford to PAY for a library card! Much less a SUBSCRIPTION for one!! ALL THREE LIBRARIES in this area have turned me down for the sole fact that my mailing address is in a town with NO LIBRARY an

Awful experience trying to print something. The staff member lady was too busy reading her book to help do what I needed. I wasted time and money to print something and it would not print. She wouldn't help.

Great local library. We have recently bought a house in seaside and love the access to library. Lots of resources.

Wonderful quiet space with helpful staff and a wide variety of books and services to choose from. Thanks for being inclusive and welcoming to all patrons.
