Dooger's Seafood & Grill

The restaurant's atmosphere was pleasant to eat at. there was plenty of room to move around the restaurant. the appetizers came out very quickly and we enjoyed our lunch salad and soup option. but our food took well over 45 minutes to get out to us. from the time we received our first course. And the restaurant wasnt very busy at that time. but once the food did arrive it was very delicious. The waitresses promptly filled our waters and were very nice to converse with. She knew the menu very well and answered all the questions we needed. highly recommend checking this place out.

Food was spectacular! Steak was a little undercooked and they took it back and fixed it right away no problem. Scallops and prawn were delightful and cooked to perfection. The Seafood Pasta was Loaded with meat! A great deal and great way to try many kinds of seafood. Such a nice place to eat and lots of great options. A lot of places in town specialize in only a couple types of seafood but this place has it all!

Excellent service. Our server was a delight to talk to and she made our evening. I had the cajun prawns. I was suprised and thrilled that it was not fried. The prawns were perfectly sauted in a light cajun sauce. The mixed veggies were super fresh and steamed to perfection. I dipped them in the butter sauce for the prawns. and my friend said her ahi tuna was grilled perfectly.

The Atmosphere is great. The people at the service entrance are fantastic but the food that we got for worth $40 with clams and my calamari fried was not looking good. We did the take out. A lot of clams we received don’t have the meat in it but celery, tomatoes and onions. Too much steamed water so the taste isn’t that great but it’s good with the butter sauce. Please next time, when you serve clams, take out the empty shells. Don’t serve it. Don’t overcooked so it’s not too hard to eat. The calamari isn’t crispy and having a ketchup sauce on it doesn’t blend well it’s surprising for the portioned value over the price we paid. It’s not what I expected. We had the razor clams, scallops, and fried oysters. All came out hot, tasted fresh and melted in our mouths. Clam chowder was velvety smooth. The steamed vegetables were fresh and perfectly done. Tied the meal together with a balanced blood Mary, good spice with a touch of sweetness and fun toppings.
