Seaside Fish House

First time visiting Seaside Fish House. The atmosphere and decor was charming. The restaurant was bright and colorful offering family friendly vibes. The bar had classic wall hangings along with multiple televisions for entertainment and low classic rock music playing. The staff was very attentive. We had multiple staff do table touches and check ins with us throughout our meal making it personable and a perfect experience. The food was plated perfectly along with tasting phenomenal. Pricing and portioning was perfect. Bartenders were very welcoming as well and created beautifully crafted drinks. We will definitely be making this a regular place. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a great night out.

I was disappointed that they advertised oysters only to find out they just have them on Friday's. Perhaps this was an error on my end and I misread something online. But you'd think since their Facebook states "raw bar" in the description they would always have them. So, I ordered crab legs. They came with potatoes and corn, per usual. But they were not seasoned at all. That struck me as odd. The seating wasn't comfortable or welcoming. My initial disappointment may have affected the rest of my impression, but I won't be returning.

We went for New Year’s Eve dinner with friends. We called and made reservations. The only seating was on the veranda, and assured it would be warm. It was not. Three of four ordered an advertised special. About a half hour after ordering we were informed that the special was no longer available. So we modified our order. The other was served 15 minutes before everyone else. The alternate order of salmon was dry and not very good. The 4 seared scallops were good, quantity was a bit of a disappointment. The French onion soup was not cooked down enough. With reservations required, the dishes were not prepared well. Based on the reservations needed a disappointing experience.

Not sure what happened to my previous post. There tonight for NYE, sat on the porch that they promised was warm because of the heaters. Sat on my coat because the benches were cold and had a cold breeze on my back the entire time. They ran out of the Stuffed Shrimp at the 2nd sitting, 6PM, which was advertised on their NYE menu. Ordered the Teriyaki Salmon. Salmon was very dry and didn’t finish it. Will not be back.

My husband and I had the best meal here. The short ribs were delicious and hubby cant stop raving about the tuna bites and stuffed flounder. Wonderful staff too!
